I'm 46 and never had a hole in one. I have hole out from the fairway several times but never from the tee box. My 17 year old daughter already has 2 hole in ones, one of which i witnessed in a father daughter tournament. I play in a 2 man tournament each year on Fathers Day weekend with my brother. Yesterday I was playing on Fathers days and I holes out for eagle on the 3rd hole from a greenside bunker on a par 5. The next hole was a 137 yard par 3. I hit a 50 degree vokey about 12 ft past the hole and yelled spin as it hit. Sure enough it ripped back and disappeared. My brother and the 2 playing partners erupted and a few people watching from the previous hole. I sort of sat there stunned in disbelief. My golf course starting selling ProV1s in every number this year and I had purchased a box with my favorite number, 64, to use in this event. Turned out to be all i need to get the elusive ace was my favorite number on the ball.
