I was playing in a work fundraising golf tournament at Sandia golf club in Albuquerque. On hole 16 I was going between a nine iron and pitching wedge for a 153 yard shot on an elevated green with shifting winds. I chose my pitching wedge and the shot with solid landing about 15 feet from the hole and rolled right in. I’m pretty sure every single person on the course heard us screaming.
I’ve been playing golf for 35 years and have came close to making one but never seal the deal. What a great experience.
