I'm 74 and have been playing since I was 10, learning on a nine hole sand green course. My 1st hole in one came on 7-9-2026 at Todd Creek Golf Course in Thornton, CO. It was on the 3rd hole, a 125 yard par 3. I used a 9 iron. The flag was visible but the bottom of the pin was not. It was a pure strike and the ball landed on the green. When we arrived at the green, 2 balls were on the fringe and one was pin high, 6 feet away. I figured that was my ball but it wasn't. Then one of my playing partners looked in the hole and there was my Titleist with red and blue dots. After 64 years of playing, I finally had my hole in one.
