After years and years of near misses, I assumed I would never get one. Until a few weeks ago when it FINALLY happened. I hit 6 iron from 182 on our uphill 2nd hole with my Titleist ProV1 with a blue dot. It looked good but it probably didn't go in. Then we got to the green and only 1 ball was on the green when there should have been 2. I knew it wasn't short and I knew it wasn't long so I walked towards the hole and there it was at the bottom of the cup. At that moment, everything changed. My college teammates who constantly chirp me for not having one can finally quiet down. How did I celebrate? I bought drinks for several of our members (pricey but worth it), then I printed as many photos as possible and placed them strategically around the rooms of my obnoxious friends who came to town the following week. This doesn't make me a better golfer, it just means that luck was finally on my side and it's a moment I will never forget.
