  1. I’m currently playing t100 21’ 4-9 with project x 6.5. After trying MBs with DG tour issue x100 and getting better numbers compared to my t100 I’m wondering if I would benefit more from a combo set 4-5 t100 6-9 MBs with a specialty PW. What would be the benefits in playing a combo set with MBs compared to play only t100? I tend to compress the ball and take steep divots what would be the difference in turf interaction between MBs and t100? I’m not chasing distance but control, I see a lot of tour pros using t100 through the whole set so I wonder what MBs have to offer in the scoring irons

A GOOD fitter will put you in a combo set off 100's/150's. I was in the same boat a few years ago, still around scratch (been there 30 years), thinking highly of myself. It was an easy decision for me based on the flight characteristics. In the windy south, the high trajectory MB/CB's were getting tough to hit consistently, for me. The new ProV1's spin so well off the irons I was getting crazy height at the peak. Everyone is different though. There's a reason most of the Tour guys have given up the conventional blades, and it's about forgiveness. It's a tough call to make, based on your ability, but a good fitter with Trackman will show you the evidence. Good Luck!
