  1. I signed up to volunteer at the PGA in 2026. Does anyone know if the major brands including Titleist host anything in tents/booths or is that all strictly PGA related stuff? Should be awesome either way. If anyone has been to a major before outside of the Masters, I'd be curious to hear how your experience went.

From my experience working at the PGA events, the Reps are usually busy working in the merchandise tents helping the host pro shops who have that responsibility. Titleist and FootJoy products are offered in the tents and they are there to support at the host courses/events.

At some events they do sponsorships for the Pro/Am events. But the products are offered only for those participating in the Pro/Ams, who have paid a fee to play. Once the Pro/Am is over the Reps usually move over to the merchandise tent to work and help out.

Have worked the PGA, Sr PGA, Ryder Cup, The Heritage at Hilton Head, LPGA Ginn Tribute hosted by ANNIKA, and Nationwide Tour Championships. Worked in various capacities; as a marshal, hole captain, co-chair, marshal chair, and head of on course security. I enjoyed what I did. Always worked well with the PGA and LPGA. Times are tough when weather is bad, part of volunteering. Expect it. Know what is expect of you and treat the patrons with respect. I worked with great volunteers. Smile, know your job, have fun, but follow the rules. You are there to protect the players. If there is a problem, know who to contact.

I always enjoyed whatever I did. Of course, I am a people person and enjoy volunteering.
