  1. I've read that 2 degrees is the maximum a Scotty can be bent upright. Has anyone tried to exceed this? Did you succeed or fail? What model?

    I never bend a putter myself. I take it to a professional and let them do it for me. They know what variances the clubs can tolerate and if they exceed that and break it then I am sure they will replace the shaft. I trust my repairer and fitter and let them handle it and have them check my putter a number of times a year.
  3. I have bent in excess however I would not recommend it since that is the zone where cracks or breaks occur frequently. SC Putters are such high quality and works of art that I would not take the chance. Keep in mind that adding or removing length will adjust the lie angle of the putter automatically....
