On July 4th 1997 I was lucky enough to make a hole in one.It was my third time ever playing so I didnt know to tell anyone in the clubhouse or anything like that so I took the ball home and put it up.My wife bought me a little cup with hole in one on it so I put in there and put it on my dresser.About 3 or 4 weeks ago I just happened to look down and see my ball wasnt there.I had two other golf balls that my daughter had bought me from places she had been.I was upset I asked everyone in the house and no one knew anything about it.Jokingly I said "I'll just have to go out and make another ace".It was a joke because I havent even come close to another one in fourteen years.I figured my son had taken my ball and hit it out in the field where I practice and just wouldnt tell me.This morning I went in to my daughters room,my wife and daughter were in there talking and I looked down and behind my daughters guitar was a golf ball and sure enough it was my missing ball.I asked how did this get here?They guessed that my wifes friends little boy had gotten it played with it.Having gotten back something back that is special to me I put the ball back in my cup and put in my wifes hope chest.I still would love to get another hole in one but I'm still thrilled to have been able to do something that not alot of people have done.
