    I just got a Titleist single canopy umbrella for Christmas, I was hoping to get the double canopy. Could someone explain the differences. I know the size is the same. Is the weight different? I'm trying to decide if I'm going  to send it back or not.

    The double canopy has a second canopy stacked over the bottom layer.  It allows for air circulation when you are using it.  It might be a little bit heavier, but not much.  I think the only real difference is the double canopy is more high end and what a lot of the pro players carry.  I like my single canopy umbrella, it is just great for my needs.

    The double canopy umbrellas are supposed to be wind resistant & not pop open the wrong way with a big gust of wind. I have been waiting to get a double canopy Titleist umbrella, but they have not made them for over a year because of a quality issue. I hope they have them for the 2012 season.
