Ap1 712 with Xp S300 Shaft v Ap1 710 NS Pro 105t stiff

    I have a set of Ap1 710 with Ns Pro 105t stiff and find the ball is going Very High and I'm losing distance and control, I like the look of the Ap1 712 and want to know would the flight be lower with the Xp S300 shaft and give Me more control and distance, my Handicap is 7 Rory

    I tried both shafts in the 712 AP1 and ended up ordering the XP stiffs.  The XP's were straighter and lower/better trajectory than the 105Ts for me .  I play NS Pro 100's now in 775s and expected to order the 105Ts in the 712s but it didn't happen.  My handicap is 3.  Hope this helps

    Stuart, Just to let you know I got fitted today in a Titleist Academy, I tried the Ap1's and 2's and We finally decided on the Ap1's DG XP S300 1/2 longer & 1 degree Upright , great flight & tight dispersion and helped my pushed shot to the right ( no Wonder as my own clubs were 1 degree Flat ) I hit the Ap2'S well but Just wanted that extra forgiveness, could have mixed the set but don't Fancy that. I went on to purchase 2 Rescue clubs 17 & 21 degrees 1.5 degrees Closed and a 3 wood With 4 wood shaft 1.5 degrees closed , what a difference !! I'v no excuse now !!!!!! How will I get them in to the house though , Ha, Rory
