Problems with Premium Stand Bag

I just got a Premium Stand Bag yesterday and now that I've transferred all of my clubs and stuff to the bag, I'm a bit disillusioned.  The bag looks spectacular, and has as many pockets as my old TM R11 stand bag.  But I'm not crazy about the carry strap system, and no matter what I do, the bag just will not stand up on its own when I zip the stand legs into place.  The metal bars that make up the stand bag's leg mechanism are just too weak and bend to such a degree that they look as though they'll break.

I can live with the straps, even though I don't think they're nearly as good as the ones that were on my TM bag, but not being able to stand the bag upright without leaning it against a wall or something really bothers me.  I've already given my old bag away, so this is the only one I have, and I don't like any of the other Titleist bags because they lack the number of pockets as this one does.

I just wanted to know if perhaps I got a lemon, and whether I should return it for another one, or is this a problem that others who have this bag have run into?  Love the bag, the pockets, looks great, but very unhappy right now.

So no one else is using the Premium Stand Bag, or no one that's using it cares to comment?

Thought at least one person might have some insight.

I've got the same leg problem with my 3 year old lightweight stand bag. It works fine on grass or other surfaces that provide some friction.  But on concrete (e.g. my garage floor) the legs slip to a point where the bag is spread eagle on the floor.  I call 'em giraffe legs.

I called customer service when I first got it and they knew exactly what I was talking about.  They were great about offering to replace it.  (I chose not to do so because I didn't like any of the then current color combos.)  I would have thought that by now they would have come up with a fix.

Give them a call though and give them a chance to make you happy again.  With the prices on bags and the options available you ought to be satisfied.

Thanks, Greg!  I knew it couldn't have been just me!  In the interim, I've been going around to golf shops and checking out the same model to see if the problem was extant.  I'd say about 30% of the bags I checked out were like mine, with faulty legs, and I checked out about 30 bags or more.

I'll call them tonight and see what they say.

I have the same bag and the shoulder straps are very poor in quality compared to the Premium version that I had before this one.  Have had no problems with the legs other than they are not as high a quality as the previous version.
