Interesting. I have the blue Project X shafts in my driver, fairway woods and hybrid. Quite frankly, I've not been very happy with any of the shaft offerings I've tried yet. I've taken the extreme (and expensive) step of purchasing aftermarket tip adapters from Golfworks and placing them in my favorite shafts, UST Proforce V2 and Aldila NV. Like I did with TM, I like to have the same shaft in all my woods and hybrids, and I switch between the two sets depending on the course I'm playing and the wind conditions.
Are the black shafts pricey?
Hi the retail on the Black is $276 for Driver and FW and I believe $160 for hybrid. I've have very good luck getting them on eBay at a much reduced price .

Sounds like you need to make a trip to Sleepy Hollow and get fit. They have the shaft options to test before you buy. No reason to just buy and hope it works anymore.
I've been thinking about it, but two things: one, do they do just shaft fittings? And two, I'm wrestling with spending that much money (I won't post how much here in case it might offend someone) for just that.
And man, those Project X shafts are really pricey! I don't know that I can reconcile spending that much on shafts. I'm sure glad my Aldila NV and Proforce V2 shafts are reasonably priced!!! I was able to get shafts for driver, 2 fairway woods and hybrid (for both brands) for just a little more than what one of those shafts cost.
Guess I'm happy enough staying with what I've got, it allows me to score low, so it's all good.
