Its all personal preference. I use the 2013 model with the single strap system. For the last 8 years I've used a dual strap and had no complaints about the performance. After switching to a single strap I doubt Ill go back to the dual. The 2013 is a great bag but in my opinion the 2014 has a few better design features and looks a little more well built. Whichever you go with I'm sure you'll love.
