Recently purchased AP14 Reg Kuro Kage shafts since my swing speed is less than 90 mph and Golfsmith recommended this set for my 14 handicap and swing speed.. these are the sweetest easiest to hit irons I have ever had the pleasure of playing. I realize every new set has an adjustment period however my ball flight seems to be consistantly high, decreased yardage, with a 10-15 yard sudden draw a the apex of the shot.... it is going straight at the flag but suddenly veers of course and always to the left. Strangest ball flight I have ever seen and it is getting to be pretty consistant with the longer irons 5-8. Not as noticeable with the 9-gap (52 degree). What are my options for more consistant ball flight. Is it possible that the heavier heads in the longer shafts are loading these shafts to much. Would tipping them a 1/4 inch or 1/2 inch result in lower more consistant ball flight. I realize this would change the lie angle but at 5'8" I have to grip down about 3/4 inch to maintain a flatter lie angle. Any thoughts on the ball flight would be appreciated.
