I just bought a driver and I registered but nothing happens. I thought the computer or something will verified the serial number and let me know if it's the real thing. So I enter a fake serial number and still nothing happens, so what's the purpose of registering your equipment.

I'm waiting for my mb712, it should get here by next Monday; Dr. Jekyll in me is saying that the authorized dealer will switch my authentic with a fake. So it brings me back to the pointless registering of equipment, It doesn't tell me if that serial number is real or fake. I'm confused and doesn't know what to do; I guess I should leave it to faith, but if I'm not hitting it well, than I'll assume that I'm using fake clubs.

    Hi Nemaia,

Thanks for the post. You're correct that the registration is not a serial number verification or authenticity check. As we note in the form, registering a serial number does not confirm the authenticity of the product.

As for the usefulness of the form, some TT members like to use it as a way to track the different products they've purchased over the years. While others choose not to register any equipment. It really comes down to the individual.

And if you're unsure about your purchases, you can always check our brand protection page for info on how to spot fakes and what to do if you believe you've purchased a counterfeit item. Here is the link:

    Thanks,
