I played in the Texas Golf Association's South Senior Amateur tournament this week.  I relied on Pro V1, my AP2 712 irons and 910h and 913h hybrids, along with my FJ PTL glove and Icon shoes.  Those items did not let me down.  I accomplished that all by myself.  Overall, I was satisfied with my performance, though one hole killed me over the two days (+9 total on that one hole).  Loved the experience.  Met some very good golfers, including the winner of the Super Senior division (my bracket).   I've got a long way to go to be truly competitive, but you've got to start somewhere.

  3. Congrats! Great start to get back into the competitive swing of things!

Interesting on your post, I too competed in my first regional competition two years ago after taking off over a long period of time and I noticed that it was much easier since I realized as much as I want to win, life has many other things going on and win, place or show just being able to compete and be competitive was a great feeling again!

You're the man Pulplvr.  I remember how you battled back at RICC in the FJA a couple years ago.  I'm sure you'll be atop the leaderboard in no time
