Just curious. When one changes the loft and bounce on a SM5, how would the grind be affected? Thanks.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the question.
When one changes the loft of a wedge, the grind isn't effected as much as the bounce is. For every degree a club/wedge is bent strong, the bounce is reduced by one degree. Vice versa for every degree a club/wedge is bent weak.
Hope this helps.

Bubba,
Thanks for the response. I understand the one for one relationship between loft and bounce when loft is changed. But, my question was centered around the fact that I want to have a 53* wedge to fit in my sequence. I am also thinking of the F grind since it is for all three types of swings and all types of conditions. So I was thinking of getting a 52-08 F grind and bending it up to a 53-09 but wondered if the grind would be affected for the type of swing and the type of conditions. Thanks for your thoughts.
