    Hi,

Is there anyway I can prevent the paint coming off of the numbers on my new irons? I took them to the range for the first time yesterday and the paint is starting to chip on the 3, 6, and PW. These are the best irons I have ever purchased and I have to say the customer service I received from Titleist was even better. Ordered on 5/19/14 and picked them up on 5/28/2014. Thanks Titleist for being top notch!!!

Hi James,  I'm sorry to hear about the paintfill on your irons.  I know your season is just getting started over there, but when you have about a week to spare or even at the end of your season, take your irons to your local shop and have them set up a Warranty repainting.  Make sure they ask for a shipping label and we will repaint the set for you.

I painted mine orange and topped them with clear fingernail polish..

  4. While I would not do this for my set of AP2 irons, if you were wanting to prevent any paint coming off from normal continued use one could be a light coat of sealer over the paint...just a thought, additionally you can repaint them yourself with model paint like tamiya...many cameron collectors do this on a regular basis.

Mine have also done the same. I just don't think it's worth it shipping and so forth. I only worry about it when I sell them to get a newer model. I think Titleist needs to put it out there to let the folks know about the issue. I also agree they have also been my favorite irons
