It's been over a year since I have been on here, maybe I have looked once or twice,but no posts. It feels really good to be back on here and on the course. May 2013, I hurt my back again,when I hurt it this time an impingement was created where my Spinal Fusion is and it hurt,very bad. So after 6 injections, 4 at one time I finally started to heal and I knew in my mind it would take a year to heal. So I sold my clubs ,so I wouldn't be tempted to play. In December my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer, so I moved back to North Carolina to be her full time caregiver. Being her caregiver was  very physical and took it's toll on my back and my replaced left knee. My mom passed on March 28 and it has been very tough. I know shes in a better place now.

So around May 1st I felt I was ready to play, so I started hitting balls again and felt very well, so I bought a set of clubs and played my first round on May 14, I shot an 84, which wasn't bad but I knew I had to improve my putting, so I did and on May 21 I shot a 74,my best round ever and I have stayed around 80 ever since. Playing golf again is great, my mom knew I loved the game and she knows it's a place I can go just to get away. I didn't buy Titleist clubs this time, because my swing changed, but there's one thing I will never change,my Titleist PRO V1 ball.
