Ball get marked to original spot..Sorry

Sorry, but I believe the rule states the ball must be marked and replaced to the nearest position from which it was struck by your playing partners ball. Hopefully he can putt first and give you a good line for the read and also make a legal birdie, good luck

Hi,
Right from the rule book......
If a ball in play and at rest is moved by another ball in motion after a stroke, the moved ball must be replaced.
Sorry, no eagle assist...!

You would need to replace your ball to the nearest spot known prior to being struck by your playing partner's ball. It sounds like your 100 yard shot was your third stroke, so you would be laying three.

You ball gets replaced as near to its original location as possible. You fellow competitors ball is played from to place where it came to rest. See Rule 18-5.

Your ball gets placed back to as close as you can figure it was, his ball is played wherever it ends up.

Sorry Chris, we need to give you a bogey for that answer.

Are you sure your ball was at rest ? I think it was still moving and went in on its own. It was an optical illusion that his ball hit it : )
