This could be a really cool thread to see what everyone has gotten. I would have to say my coolest items would have to be the "custom" leather headcovers I got last year or my laser rangefinder I got the year before. I usually buy all of my golf stuff myself, but every once in a while my wife surprises me with something.

I usually buy all of my golf equipment myself, which makes me extremely hard to buy for, but the coolest thing I was ever given was something that was totally unexpected. My grandpa bought a name tag for my bag and had it engraved with my name on it. It may be small but it has hung on my bag ever since. It's even more special now because he's no longer with me, but every time I play golf I always think of him because I always see the bag tag.

Great topic for everyone but me... For me, it's like the "Christmas Story" minus the bb gun..
I have FJ clothes ALL over the house, ProV1 golf balls stacked up, I'm at the golf store almost every weekend and my wife knows how much I love Titleist and Scotty Cameron.. So you would think I may get something along that line with so much HINT in the house... Nope... My wife tries but pretty much everything I open that's golf related gets returned.. half the stuff she got me, I didn't even know existed
So, I buy on my own and tell my wife don't get me anything... So as of 2013, I've received nothing worth mentioning...
Besides with 2 boys now, it's pretty much about them....
Looking forward to hearing what everyone else got though...

My wife bought me a Vokey *60 lob wedge a couple years ago which surprised me, I didn't think she even knew what a lob wedge was.
Just shows that she does actually listen when I go on and on about Titleist clubs and what I want. Definitely was nice to see under the tree.

Everyone in my family knows that gift certificates work best with me but a few years back my wife made me cross stitched sweatshirt that has a really cool golf picture that I really like. Last year I got my grandson's their first sets of golf clubs for Christmas and man did their eyes light up, all day we talked golf and watched golf on TV. The next day we went and they got to play for the first time with grandpa so that was by far the best Christmas gifts I have ever given. They're both hitting Pro V1s and enjoy looking through TT Discussions and all of the equipment. Think I got em hooked on golf.

My best Holiday gift was when my wife gave me a Titleist Backpack that goes everywhere with me. The best thing is it starts some great golf conversations wherever I may be. Airports seem to be the #1 spot for conversations. I'm thinking of asking for more Titleist gear this Holiday. Any suggestions?

I take care of getting all my golf stuff, clubs, balls, and etc., however, when the skycaddie 5 came out my wife did get that for me for Christmas. She also got my a Titleist hat with my name on the side of it as a gift from my 3 sons. I wore that hat for everything, and it has long seen better days, maybe she will once again get me a hat to replace it. I have ordered a new stand bag, Titleist 2015, 14 way divider with my name and Team Titleist on it, which she is paying for, which is great for me. She will buy golf shirts for X-mas as she knows the kind of shirts I like.
The last 2 years I've bought my dad new hybrids, not Titleist, as he isn't a fan. And the previous year I got ahold of his clubs from the locker room and had all new grips put on without him knowing until the first round of the next year.

Great ideas so far!
I think the coolest holiday gift I have given is finding throughout the year limited releases on SC Headcovers, Vokey Accessories etc... and giving them to my son's or daughters (most of them are competitive golfers) at this time of the year as a surprise. Last year I think I gave my one step son Vokey Titleist Rubber Putting Disc's which were released the year before as an example. He was obviously thrilled!

One year, my wife sent in my Scotty to get a complete customized job without my knowledge. One of the best surprises every.
Another year, I received the Titleist backpack. Still use it every day!

In our family, my wife and I don't get each other too much because we are so hard to buy for. Once year, she did surprise me with a unique gift that was fun. It was a framed picture of the leader board from the Memorial golf tournament. Somebody used a little creative photo shopping to remove one of the names on the leaderboard and put mine there in its place. Was cool to see my name up there with the leaders even though it was just a joke.

I was fortunate to get one of the Scotty Cameron My Girl 2014 releases at retail. I am going to give it to my daughter for Christmas this year. She is a junior on her HS golf team, and it will be a total surprise. Unfortunately, she won't appreciate the value of it for years to come, but one day, hopefully it will be a heirloom for her children.

For my birthday about 5 years ago my wife surprised me with a Titleist Mini Staff bag with my name stitched on it. Last year's Christmas, her and my girls got me a Titleist briefcase for my work and grad school. I tried to ask for the rolling 22' duffle bag for traveling and she said I may be trying to hard to look like a Titleist pro!! I said exactly and I thought she was a little harsh!!! Haha.
Have gotten Titleist Golf Balls, FJ Shoes and FJ apparel..........and Santa is bringing me a new Titleist cart bag this year.....Mike, that was really cool.....my wife and I are hard to buy for as well. because we get what we want throughout the year.....at Christmas, we normally go shopping and bring something we want home and say you owe me and let each other wrap it......we are too old for Christmas surprises and exchanging gifts.......

Additional Titleist gears? Gee there's a lot.... :)

My answer is easy. I got a set of png Eye 2 irons as a junior golfer when they were the "hot" item. My parents really didn't have that kind of scratch put got them for me anyways. I still have them although they have not been swung in 20+ years.
Now I just get what I need when I need it so the Xmas surprises are few and far between. The wife really does not know what to get me and I don't ask for anything.
Happy Holidays to you all.

"You have all those golf clubs and you tell me you can only use 14?"
It's pretty tough for anyone to buy me golf stuff - I'm lucky enough to have a bunch already. But years ago, my wife did buy me a very nice cart bag that I still use on occasion when I know I'll be riding in a cart. And some years, rounds of golf to two very nice local courses. Perhaps not the "coolest" stuff, but very appreciated nonetheless.

The wife is getting her first Vokster TVD wedge... But recently she's gotten Scotty My Girl putters.

Ten years ago on our second Christmas being married, my wife suprised me with a golf trip to St. Andrews. Made me do a whole puzzle including some math to figure it out. Not many things brings me to tears but that did. Spent a week there and a week in London doing whatever sh wanted to do. Last year she got me a set of Titleist AP2 714s. I have the BEST WIFE EVER. As far as best holiday stocking stuffer gifts, i think a scorecard/yardage book holder would be awesome.

I received a Vokey sm4 for Xmas. Couldn't of been happier.

Last Christmas I recieved a handmade leather scorecard holder. Great for the days when we walk and during tournament play. These seem to be hard to find. I like that it flips open from the top and has a place for the pin sheet, yardage book, and scorecard.

Just bought my oldest son (33) , a very nice set of used Titleist irons and metalwoods that I had regripped. We'd rather give multiple gifts than one $$$ gift .
Looking forward to to getting out with the kids more this year though we did get in 6+ rounds at the end of the year.
Can't wait until my Grandson can play.
He loves hitting the putting green at the house and local putt putt's. (He plays not only his ball, but everyone else's too)
