Although it's not Titleist, does anyone else use or have tried the png cradle for Iphones.  It's kinda nice to try and duplicate the putting stroke and seems to be of some help to get to that point.  I try and use it most every weekend for 30 min each time.  I'm sure I will never putt like the PGA guys, but it can't hurt to try and get a measurable and repeatable stroke down.  I like it, even tho it isn't Titleist, (  HINT HINT ) maybe Titleist will come up with there own product.  Maybe even one which I won't have to remove my phone from the case each time as well, lol.  Happy Putting !!

The location where I bought my Futura-X used various assessment tools for loft/lie, length, and face balance. The application on the I-Phone did the yeoman's work on swing style. The other location I could have gone to uses that app as well - and the app is brand neutral. Feel is personal for the final decision.

    Hi, Tyson,

Yes, a few years ago I tried that app and cradle for my iPhone.  Unfortunately, I found it really didn't serve me up to the standards that I wanted from the most important club in your bag.  If you are serious about the game of golf, there is really only one solution.  That is to be fitted at the Scotty Cameron Gallery and putting studio in Encinitas, California.  It will be the greatest $350/2 hour investment of your golf career.  Good luck!

That isn't an option, I don't use the app for fitting, I use it for the tempo, arc, open closed, shaft lean to try and groove a repeatable putting stroke.  I love my putter, although it isn't Titleist, I am not looking at changing putters, just trying to work on my stroke as it is, a refinement and repeatable one.

I have the cradle/app, and I have to say after thousands of strokes I have yet to produce a repeatable swing.  I dont have steady hands to begin with, and I don't know if the extra weight of the phone and cradle are making it worse or better, but I've found almost no benefit to it.

Otherwise I agree with he previous poster...get a good fittin, and you'll be well on you way to more proficient putting.

    Good luck.

I've got the app and have used it for putting assessment and, to some small degree, training.  I recently upgraded to an iPhone 6, however, and the cradle doesn't fit the new phone.  Guess I'll have to wait for Png to come out with a cradle that will, or come up with some sort of workaround.

I am fit for the putter I have.  Just because people get fit, doesn't mean they have a repeatable stroke, putting or a full swing.  Pro's lose there mechanics or feel, depending on which one's are asked.  I was more curious if anyone used it to try and repeat their putting stroke or to help them.  I'm not looking to get fit for another putter.  The biggest reason I use the App is for the open / closed face and the tempo.  Both of which come and go for me, and anyone else who plays the game, including Pro's who are fit much better than 99% of all non pro's are.

I have used the png app and am amazed at what a strong arc I have. In order to get the feel for a straight back/thru stroke, it feels like I am making a big cut stroke. Long story short, it can tell you many things. Whether the changes are right for you is a different matter.
