    I landed in a divot after a fantastic drive around a dogleg. (Were you expecting a hole in one pic?)

    Anyway, I went in steep and hard at the ball. I made great contact but ended up pushing it a bit. Got lucky though, and it kicked back onto the green for a straight forward par.

    I like how in the second picture, you can see the new divot beginning in the middle of the old divot, right were the ball was sitting.

    I was expecting some sort of achievement as well.  Going 2 years without finding a divot is either incredible luck, incredible course conditions, or missing an incredible amount of fairways.  Either way... incredible

    If that is truly the first time that has happened to you in two years of golf, I suggest going out a buying some lottery tickets.

    Thanks man, that made me laugh big time!! I am blown away by the green grass ! Not much of that here in Vermont.

    Starting to turn though. In a cosmic sort of way it is a hole in one tho!

    haha..  i was thinking of a hole in one or something else but not this..  That is too funny..  But great to see you recovered well... 

    Hopefully that's the only time this season you'll have to deal with that...

    Oh, there was some more the next day...

    I can't remember another time where I actually had to hit the ball away from the hole.

    Nice! Way to sucker us in with the tag line on the message. This was certainly not what I thought. Kudos on the clean shot out of the divot and for making the par in spite of the lie.

    Good one!!!  My first thought was a hole in one after two years!!!!!!!!!!  Took me a lot more than that!!!  Then I read the post!
