I know a lot of players benefit from playing the optic yellow ball.  They are easier to see in-flight and when they are in light to moderate rough.  However, since they were introduced on the market a few years ago the only balls Titleist has produced in the optic yellow are the DT Solo & NXT Tour S.  So my guess is that Titleist will not be producing an optic yellow Pro V1 or Pro V1x.

It has been 2 years since someone from Titliest addressed this issue. When will they make the ProV1 and ProV1x in optic yellow? Most other brand tour balls have them available. I prefer Titliest but I purchase srxn more often because I see it better. If not, why not?

I don't see any harm doing a trial or limited run to test the waters... And please, those that don't want them, don't  post here as we're trying to get this done..

I use the ProV1x and often have trouble seeing the ball in the distance.  I find it easier to see the yellow ball.  I've tried the Nxt S but prefer to use the ProV1x.  A number of the better players in our large player group have often used the yellow ball for the same reason.  I suspect they would prefer a Titleist yellow ball to a srxn, for example, but they want to stay with the highest quality product. 

The sooner, the better!  I'll buy yellow balls only.  And I'll play Titleist in white if I find them.  Visibility is way more important than tradition.

I prefer colored golf balls.  For the longest I stepped away from the ProV1x's to another brand so that I could play something in bright orange.  It was far easier for me to track and on the offline shots - find.

If Titleist came out with optic yellow in the ProV's I'd 100% play them.

People please help me on telling Titleist to add Yellow color to the two best ball on the market. The Pro V1 and Pro V1x you see I have trouble with seeing the white color. That why I play the Chrome soft yellow. it jut helps me pick up the ball in the sky and ground. thanks greg

I vote NO, not in favor of a yellow Pro V1/V1X.

Keep the #1 Ball the way it is!

Im sure Titleist would never get rid of the original white ball, so why not put another option for others!!

I highly doubt Titleist would make you buy or play the other color, JAT!

I use two balls, NXT Tour and Pinnacle Gold in yellow.  The yellow balls are definitely easier for me to see and find.  If the Pro V's were in yellow I would buy them.  This summer I have played a lot of golf with players young and old and they always comment how much easier the yellow is to see.  So maybe as players find the advantage to yellow balls there will be more available from Titleist.

I heard a Titleist rep discuss this on Sirius XM PGA Tour radio yesterday. Not much was said other than they have considered it.

It personally would never buy them, but if I started finding them around golf courses I would definitely play them!!! The Yellow golf balls always seem to be a harder ball. Not sure why that is. 

Why not try dying some? My wife tried it last week and came up with some that were pink and some blue ones. Optic yellow would be good. 

Dyiong the balls is a very viable option. RIT makes a synthetic dye that works great. 1 tsp per cup of water does it. If you want them to be very dark, 5 minutes works. For a light shade use 1 minute. I recently made some pink ProV1's and used them yesterday at the Houston outing. The darker pink is easy to see in the air, but hard to see on the ground. The lighter color is easy to see in the air and ground with the added bonus of knowing which ball is yours.
