I plan on hosting another one in Mass this year. I second that this should be a separate discussion topic!

Hey Chris,
How are you doing? I like your idea. I just don't get on here often enough and end up missing those notices. I'll try to do better!
Cheers,Pete

I agree on a separate category for these special outings. They're definitely fun to attend.
I would love to host something at my soon to be home course, Portsmouth CC. The only issues are tee times and getting them together. I can only call 3 days in advance but I'll check with the pro shop on that. Maybe if i get a good size group, i can plan ahead and get some tee times together.
As for dates and looking at the club calendar, late Sept., early October. Fall golf is always fun :).

What a great idea! I'd love to have a TT gathering in the Bay Area, Northern California.

It was my pleasure Chris , it was terrific meeting you all and everything came together nicely.
Putting a face to the screen names of other TT members and playing some golf while doing it was great.
Hopefully we can do it again this year !!
I am up for another if you or anyone else has some course's in mind let's have at it. I am willing to travel out of state given a weeek or so notice.
Note to other's just from what I picked up on last year :
If it's an in state outing Fridays or Mondays seemed to be popular because of the cost is cheaper during the week and guys didn't seem to mind a 3 day weekend. Also courses seem to not mind setting up tee times a week in advance for weekdays as opposed to weekends.
Cheers to all and enjoy your golf !!

Great idea Chris Hatem; the people, the golf, camaraderie and the memories are priceless at these local TT get-togethers. Great work Chris on promoting the idea for everyone to do more!!

I would be most interested in attending if an event is planed for the Toronto, Canada area.

Was just up in Vaughn for a hockey tournament (VSV on Rutherford Road). Saw some very interesting courses up there - did not get to play because of the hockey, but the courses looked really nice. Liked Eagles Nest...
Eagles Nest is an interesting course to play, the front nine is a links style and the back nine is more of a traditional (trees) style. Great facilities/clubhouse and I believe the Titleist fitting center is still there on the driving range. You can't beat that combo for a gathering/tournament or a club fitting!

Just catching up on threads and ran across this one. Needless to say I think this is the best part about TT. Getting out and spending a day together with others who share the same passion for Titleist/Golf. I would love to organize one here in El Paso. I think between myself and Marc, we have recruited about 10 guys to the TT Family in the area. Good starting point!
Thanks for posting this buddy!

Couldn't agree more, Chris. After my first TT Invitational at WolfDancer the wheels started turning. We formed a group here in the Houston area that has grown to almost 300 players. A combination of guys from another site and Team Titleist. seems like every day there is a group getting together somewhere. We have had numerous outings and with the support of Team Titleist they have been huge successes. Mike D came to Houston for our season ending outing last year, "The Tin Cup Experience" as we are calling it.
I am currently in the early stages of setting up this years final big outing. With that said, anyone that wants to come to Houston, the invitation is open. I'll post details in a new thread when I have a date and location.

The Houston TT group has quite a few outings throughout the year. The TT staff has been fantastic with their support.

A group of "Scotty Cameron" members are getting together in the Oregon / Washington area. Playing Camas Medows. If you live in the Portland / Vancouver area send me a message and I'll give you details. Cheers!

I'd like to encourage all players to consider attending/setting an TT outing in your area this season. Thanks to Andy R for setting up the first one I went to in CT, as we all had a great time and shared a nice round of golf. That being said let's make this a year of more TT on the course get togethers! The camaraderie is awesome; it makes for a lot of laughs and good golf. Also, lets agree to put all announcements of events in a centralized discussion category. In the past it has been the Travel category.

I have been reading about all these events and hope I can attend one sometime. I have a couple questions however, I am only 14 years old turning 15 next summer, is there a certain age/skill level you need to be before attending a TT outing? I consistently shoot in the 80's and I'll be working all winter with my coach (playing AJGA next summer, so I need to be at least to even par to compete.) I would also like to set up an outing if possible at my home course, (Blackthorn Golf Club, South Bend, IN.) I appreciate any feedback I can get, as well as anyone that would be interested in attending an event in the Midwest.

I love going to any TT event if possible, but many as scheduled on saturday which is a work day for me. I'm hoping for a sunday gathering if possible in MA.
William SBirmingham, AL
Alabama anyone?
Steve RMadison, AL
North Alabama here and would get together and play.
CoolbreezeSudbury, MA
I'd love to collaborate and creat a Team Titleist Tour. This way we can get a schedule of when a TT get-together happens and those in the area can play if their schedule allows. I think this will be great as each time a player attends, they will know this is a Team Titleist event (unofficial - of course ).
