Love meeting new TT members...

    A few weeks back a TT member, Jeff P. who I've never met got in touch with me about playing my home course Portsmouth CC.  We emailed each other a few times and finally settled on a date.

    We played yesterday and I'll tell ya this, it never gets old meeting a new TT member and getting to know them.  Jeff is a solid guy, very pleasant to chat with and just great company.  I invited another TT member, Josh G. along as well and it was a fun day playing with them both.   Weather was great and they both played very well.   

    19th hole was even better.. 

    TT is such a great community to meet some great people, it really is.  If it wasn't for TT, I probably wouldn't have met a lot of you.  Thank you. 

    Wasn't very handy with my camera yesterday  but managed to take one pic of Josh.

    Had a similar meeting last week myself.  TT Member Jim H. and I had traded a few emails back and forth and we got together last Tuesday to play Jim's home course (Aberdeen Golf Club in Eureka or as Jim refers to it "The Deen").  Perfect day for golf, or anything else for that matter, mid 60s and bright sunshine.  Had a great time talking with Jim and playing Aberdeen for the first time, which is a Scottish links style course (I now have a new found appreciation for The Open Championship).

    The one item Jim and I talked about the most was putting together a TT event here in St Louis next year.  So for all the TT members living in proximity to St Louis, stay tuned for information as we work next year to put together an event.

    Barry B and I did have a good time getting to know one another while enjoying the golf on a virtually perfect day at The Deen, as some of us like to refer to it coined by some younger golf buddies...we certainly are interested in putting together an event and Aberdeen is already on-board with Barry's idea. He will likely create a new topic in the coming months and I urge any/all of you within easy travel distance to keep an eye out for additional information. Of course, it is our intention it will be a TT event. Looking forward to a nice turn-out!

    Sounds like a great day!  I wish I lived just a little closer to you guys and could make it more of a weekend trip.  There doesn't seem to be many (if any) other members in my immediate area.

    Meeting fellow TT members that all share the same passion is what it is all about. Glad you guys had a great round and a great time together.

    Hey tdogg21, I seem to have the same problem. I live in southern N.J. I have yet to meet another TT member. Would love nothing more than to spend a day with a few TT members. I mean we are sort of family.

    Agree. What a blast we had at the TT event at Southern Pines, NC. All the networking, meeting TT members and staff members and most of all, kindling new friendships. You have never seen so many Titleist bags and clubs surrounding a putting green! Awesome site. Moments to cherish.

    Awesome story Christopher.  That's how things get started.  We have a large group in Houston and we started just like you, with a simple email and an invitation to tee it up.
