I am playing my first amateur event next weekend so I can begin my journey to qualify for the Houston Open. Never thought of the US Open but hell, why not?!?!

I won't be able to get my handicap down in time to try for this year's US Open. I'll be trying to qualify for the Mid-Am though.

As a complete aside, if anyone is in the Northern VA area and wants a caddie for the US Open qualifying, let me know. I normally caddie for one of my buddies, but he's going to be traveling during the local qualifiers this year.

I won't be trying, but I have tickets for Saturday. So if you make it, ill be there to root you on! I can't wait to be there in that environment.

I'll be trying out here in NJ. 17 years old and it's my first time going for it. Goal is to make it to sectionals. Should be fun

I'll be there as a volunteer. C'mon someone from Team Titleist make the cut and advance to TV Golf.

I will be trying to qualify out of the Springfield, IL location. Goal is to make the US Open as far fetched as that might be. But you can't win if you don't try.

I will be competing in this event for the first time! With a new set of 716 MB's. Wish me luck
