  1. Hi TT,

We have this tradition in my family, that we in the morning of the 24. December (which is the Christmas is celebrated in Denmark) goes out and play 9 holes of golf.

It all started when I was celebrating Christmas in Algarve, Portugal, which makes it much warmer to play at that time :-)

But traditions has to be held, so I took it with me back to Denmark, so now I have played in all kind of weather that day. I still love the fresh air, and it makes room for all the food, we have to eat later that day and the mood is just better after that.

Do you have any Holliday traditions when it comes to golf?

Happy Hollidays and have a good Golfing Year 2017.

My family has a similar tradition at Thanksgiving. We always play a morning round followed by food and (American) football. It's a little more pleasant since we're in South Carolina, but the tradition started in Western New York with some snow-filled rounds! Christmas is more low key, but we sneak in a few holes. Merry Christmas to all you TT members!

We have a similar tradition, however, we played the day after Christmas. I used to be stationed in Washington State and still visit family there after moving away. The winters in Washington can be harsh or mild, so part of our tradition was to play 18 holes no matter the weather. Which as well made for some interesting rounds. Sadly we were unable to visit this year and I was unable to play on the 26th. Hopefully next year! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
