Jerry, you can go for free on Monday and Tuesday, which are practice rounds. I find those days to be the best as far as player accessibility. Of course, the 16th is crazy. If you love crazy, drunken, loud crowds and watching drunks fall off their chairs, that's the place to be. At the week progresses, the crowds get bigger and bigger, so keep in mind it's very difficult to get a good vantage point unless you stay put and get to a hole early. The parking is insane. Plan on an hour from when you park your car, take the shuttle and finally get to the course. The traffic is insane on the 101 going to the course. Have fun!

How does Brothers 2, Thirsty Lion or Arena Sports Grill sound?

I'm a fan of Thirsty Lion. They have great food and a lot of drinks on tap. I've never been to Brothers 2, so not sure about that one. Area Sports Grill has more TVs than Thirsty Lion, but I think their food is ok.

The Tournament is fun, but I usually go on Thursday and Friday, skip Saturday and go on Sunday (if I can). Thursday and Friday are great since you get to see lots of the players and it's busy, but Saturday is just insane and almost impossible to see players. Sunday's are usually pretty good since it's on Superbowl Sunday and a lot of the non-golfers are getting ready for the football game.

As vurich mentioned, the traffic will be insane if you plan to drive. You park pretty far away and then take a shuttle to get close to the entrance. I think I'll just Uber it this year to the tournament. I heard that Uber drivers will be able to get pretty close to the entrance.
