Yes, I use to go every year and have been on each day of the week. It is a very special place for golfers and everyone should have the opportunity to go. I only live about two and a half hours from Augusta and we use to drive up every year. 1994 was the last year that we could walk up and purchase tickets for the practice rounds because of the overwhelming demand and they started the lottery. We entered the lottery for a few years went a few more times and finally just gave up. We had had our moment or should I say our moments in the sun and figured there were a lot of people who had never been, so give someone else the opportunity to go. Friends had given use regular tickets so we could go on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Actually got to keep one of those badges as a souvenir. With all the crowds up there it is much easier to enjoy golf on TV, unless you get there early, put your chair down with your name on it and came back and sit down before the crowds arrive. It is exciting and something everyone should get to do at least once. My wife is not a golfer, but we took her with us one year and she still talks about the course when someone mentions the Masters. You do not have to be a golfer to appreciate the greatest golf course in the world in that little corner of Georgia.

Best week of the year! Weather wreaking havoc down here now. Lots of wind Thursday and Friday will make for interesting scoring conditions. One thing for sure...whatever storm damage there is from today and tonight will be long gone when play starts tomorrow. They are unbelievable at getting the course Masters ready after strong storms. No place in the world like Augusta!
