Oh, much better than that - no Saturdays and 2 Sundays. Retired people don't have to play 5 hour rounds on weekends and call for t-times 12 days in advance. I'm one of the few in my league still working and I only get to play with them on Thursday evenings. No nooners on Mondays for me. :-(
I want to retire but have to make sure there is enough for greens fees for multiple days a week. Looks like my expenses will be going up in retirement.
Dave N - I'm sure you earned it so enjoy it.

Congrats! After 35 years I did the early retirement thing but it only lasted a weekend. Took this job in San Diego to finish out my career but have been able to utilize the weather and 9/80 workweeks to get in plenty of golf. Have fun and enjoy all the extra golf!

Congrats Dave N. I'm sure it is well deserved. Enjoy each and ever day and round! With one boy in college, and one still a sophomore in high school, I still have a ways to go. It's stories like this one that keeps me going. Thank You!
    Play Well,

Lucky devil; am sure you’ve earned it. Counting the days myself; but the number is _very_ high. Enjoy!

Congratulations, weekday golf is the best. I retired two years ago and had to find new golfing partners because of it. I am no longer a weekend golfer.
    Enjoy

Congratulations to disneyland. I did that wonderful deed on September 17th, 2011, seven days after I turned 65, but who's counting. Eventually you will believe in our new motto; "if I had know it was this much fun I would have retired first". I just love having the time to play all the days in a week that end in "DAY". I actually have a calendar to keep up with all my activities...... Enjoy the good life and good times. You have earned them, my friend. But most of all stay active. Cheers, Chuck
