On one of Abby's recent posts, she asked what you put in your golf bag. I loved reading all the wonderful answers.

My question is, what will you be taking out of your golf bag?

When's the last time you really cleaned out your bag? Your cart? Went through your numerous golf related items in your storage, garage, trunk, house?

I did this and got rid of more things than I knew I had. A myriad of useless items that have cluttered up my golf world.

I just sold 3,300 golf balls! Yes, I'm an admitted golf ball horder! I can never have enough!

I have many other golf related items that I'm currently going through.

I will keep only the best of the best items. (Of course, the great TT swag I've been so fortunate to have received since joining #TeamTitleist in May of 2010).

    So, spring is here.

    It's time to clean.

What will you be keeping and what will you be donating, selling or throwing out?

    Please post pixs!

    Thanks! #TeamTitleist

Caps and shirts must go!! Yes the spring purge is on .it seems that every spring I manage to donate 10-15 caps & about the same in shirts , shorts , pullovers and jackets. You don't realise how fast you accumulate unwanted gear, between scrambles, clearance rack, gifts and regular purchases they pile up quick.
  3. Never have that problem. I have a 10 year old that thinks my golf bag is his golf bag. He loves to see what I have that he just "needs".

This year, I got rid of
324 old golf balls, yeah I counted them.
    A few old caps
    Few polos,
A couple of pants and shorts
    3 pairs of golf shoes
    several golf gloves, about 15
1 Extra putter, only 2 left now
    1 set of old irons
    a few old wedges
    and older golf bag
I am lean and ready to start the season

I rotate bags depending on weather and whether walking or riding. I've cut back on things I never use - more than 2 ball markers, more than a half dozen tees, tired gloves, etc. Found balls, with the occasional Pro-V1 into a shag bag, get boxed and turned into the local First Tee. Since I mostly walk, the umbrella and rain suit pretty much come after every round if I put them in on the way out.

I just clean out my bag and closet last weekend since it snowing in Chicago.

    I parted with:
    5 shirts
    6 pair of shorts
    Hats
    About $3.00 in change
    Old golf bag
    Worn out glove
    Several golf towels

Cleaning can be therapeutic. Out with the old and in with the new. I recently cleaned out my golf "stuff" and donated some found balls and a few pieces of clothing. Also found 2 gloves I forgot I bought...Bonus!!

I keep my bag fairly tight as I enjoy walking and don't need/want the extra stuff...
