No joke, forecast for my tee time on Saturday, 38 degrees, but golf still golf. Grab a new pair of winter joys for the weather.

Man, where are you at? I’m in PA and it hasn’t turned that ugly...,yet. Not looking forward to the offseason. It’s been a tough year playing w/ all of the sports my children are doing now. I guess that’ll be the norm for the next few years. Fortunately, my son wants to start golfing so I will be getting him a new set of clubs for Christmas. He’s got an awesome swing. I’m thinking golf might be his game over baseball/basketball. One of my daughters shows interest, too. The other daughter is all about cheer/dance/gymnastics, lol.

I live in southeast Michigan, there are talks of snow flakes on the northern side of state tonight.

Elson I know what you mean......Saturday & Sunday chance of SNOW in western Kansas. 45 & Rain where I am at. I haven't played a round of golf since I got back from Georgia 2 weeks ago. Kansas weather has been rain, 30 mph winds & temps between 50-65 degrees the past 2 weeks. And now winter is fast approaching this weekend....... Maybe November will be better. Lol
  5. I live on long island in NY. The weather here is unpredictable. But the climate is turning cooler out! Stay warm out there!

In NorCal we were in the low 80's yesterday and today will be the same. The weird thing is that our over night low's have been in the low 40's.

Played our championship match of our two man best ball match play tourney on Friday. Mid-30's and breezy. Toe warmers in shoes. Pair of mittens with hand warmers inside. I rotated 2 balls in the mittens, pulling out a warm one on each tee. Pair of hand warmers in jacket pockets.

Lost the match, by the way, 2 Down. I have to make more birdies when giving a stroke per hole and they're making pars for net birdies. But, second gets a new cart bag for my wife.

As with northern Michigan, we had snow starting here yesterday afternoon and overnight. It's a white world today and our course is obviously closed. Friday may have been my last round of 2018.

Great pick up! I may have to see if I can find a pair of those as well this weekend. Play well and have fun!

    Yuck...cold weather is the pits
  13. Had to buy new mitts, my dog ate my last pair. I used to have “hot pockets” in my jacket, but the mitts work better keeping hands warm.
Forecast for Southern Ontario for the weekend is not good. Cold, wet, and windy. Cold with no rain or wind is okay. Three together is not good. Hopefully, we can still get out.

I draw the line at 55* and there better not be any wind. The beauty of living in SE Texas is that I can golf mostly year round and not feel like I have to golf in cold weather.
  17. I need to snag a pair of those!! Have been so spoiled so far with Fall

The forecast is for a milder than normal winter here in Chicago. My goal every year is to play at least once in every month throughout the winter. I may get lucky. If not, there’s always Hawaii.
