Myself and 7 of my close friends have planned our first golf weekend together, and I am just looking for any and all recommendations to make the weekend a memorable one for us.

We have a mix of high to low handicappers. We will be getting in early Saturday morning for breakfast and some range time then are slated to play 36 holes, stay the night, and 36 more holes on Sunday before departing around 5pm.

Any insight, ideas, or recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Do you mean within driving distance of Cincinnati, or do you already have a specific area in mind. You didn't mention that in your post. You say you will be "getting in early Saturday..." but, getting in where?

Skins, team 2 low ball there are several ways to play but mainly enjoy the fellowship. Our bunch over the years have lost a few and while we still have a great time there is always a void that can't be filled. Everyone brings their own personality
  4. We played the animal game on our golf trip. It was way to have fun and keep things light:
    Snake - 3 Putt
    Anaconda - 4 Putt
    Frog - Water
    Bear - Woods
    Camel - Sand
    Opossum - Cart path

The one with the most "animals" at the end of the round would buy the first drink. We would also do a $1 closest to the pin on all par 3's.

Never too much betting as we had fun. High and low handicappers could have fun and nobody was out a lot of money.

Prepare yourself for an absolute blast of a weekend. Our group usually likes to mix up the second 18 of the day with some best ball or another game to help ease the amount of shots taken. Friendly competition seems to always make the weekend a little more fun.
