Just wanted to say a quick thank you to Titleist for the opportunity to read and respond to some of the comments in this forum, and to my fellow TT members for posting sage advice and unique perspective from everything from the latest equipment to golf tips and more. It's pretty cool when I read of a TT member having a swing or equipment issue that I've experienced at some point during my golfing life, making a suggestion and checking back the next day to see a response or two, and some likes. Those of us "of a certain age" ( yes, I'm talking about guys like me who grew up playing blades and actual wooden woods) have gained wisdom and knowledge (hopefully)over the years, and this forum is a great place to share it, especially with younger golfers.

Thanks again Titleist, and to the TT community, keep the posts and comments coming...

First set of woods were MacGregor Golden Bear persimmon woods, along with MacGregor Tourney Colokrom irons. The irons were a blade style, with copper face. I still have all 3 of the persimmon heads and the 4 iron head. I started playing in Grade School, 6th grade I believe, and I am 60 years old. When you hit those persimmons on the sweet spot.........
    Awesome.
