    I’m happy to announce I got the approval to host a Team Titleist outing at Portsmouth Country Club in Greenland, NH. After 4 years being on the waiting list, I finally got in and believe it or not it’s always been a goal of mine to host a Team Titleist outing at Portsmouth. When Josh G. aka Hotsauce hosted an event like this a few years ago at his course, I had a blast meeting so many new people and this was something I wanted to have someday.

    Portsmouth CC was built in 1901, designed by Robert Trent Jones. This is a course I never get tired of playing and worth every penny. A course that requires every club in your bag b/c you never know what Mother Nature is gonna throw at ya. From the conditions to the scenery, it never disappoints. I'm very lucky to finally be a member. Here’s a link to their site (Not a lot of content but it's a start)

    Details:

    • Date: Saturday, Sept. 28th Tee times will be after 1:30

    • Location (along the seacoast of NH): Portsmouth Country Club 80 Country Club Lane Greenland, NH

    • Open to the first 16 people that sign up, well 15 I think I’ll go :)

    • Cost: Green fees are $70 and w/ a cart $90. It’s a walk able course, an enjoyable one.

    • Prizes for all Par 3’s closet to the pin (pro shop credit)

    • 19th hole will be open until 8 and if people wanna continue the fun, there are a few good breweries around town.

    Any other questions please don’t hesitate to let me know. I'll be honest, this is my first time hosting an event like this so I'm a little nervous and will do my best to make sure everyone has a great time.

    One FINAL reminder and a few changes for the TT outing in the 603;

    - For those that have confirmed or showed interest in playing, please check your email for details.
    - I will be at the course around noon and will have a table set up for check in and to grab a few things before you tee off. I will be going out last. After you park, go towards the building and to your right you'll see a putting green and chipping area. Look to your left and I'll be underneath the bar deck sitting at a table.
    - Group pairing is changing so please disregard the earlier pairing I sent in the email. I will try and get the final tee time pairing out by late Friday or early early early Saturday morning so please check your email.
    - I will be away for most of the day tomorrow (Friday) so if there's any last minute changes please email me as i'll be checking it; chatem@gmail.com
    - The only TT member I need confirmation from is Bob M., please let me know if you are confirmed for Saturday.

    As of right now the weather is looking marvelous BUT never know with Mother Nature.

    Last but not least, I would like to say THANK YOU to Mike D. and Allan for helping us out and supporting this outing.

    Thanks to Speedy, all the TT Staff that helped him and all who came and participated. Thanks Mike D., Allan, Pete, Paul, Jorge, Rich, Josh and everyone else. Had a great time, great views and the course was in great shape. Thanks Titleist for the TT swag that you send to Speedy for everyone. These TT events are always a great time and a great way to meet TT folks who we all converse with and exchange ideas with on the TT board. Looking forward to more events like these that we can all enjoy. I hope to bring you all down to my Club too for an event that we can all enjoy. Thanks again to all

    Hopefully I am not too late to say thanks for an awesome golf outing. I probably hit every single tree on the course (to the point where I was called Paul Bunyan), but I had a blast. The 12th, 13th, and 14th hole of Portsmouth Country Club were exceptional.

    The big surprise of the outing was all the cool Team Titleist gear and I was the lucky one that won an autographed Jason Dufner hat.

    It was great meeting you all and hopefully there is another outing next season (winter is coming...)

    You didn't hit them all, and still really enjoyed meeting and playing with you. I'm going to try to plan one for next year too so you won't have to travel very far, along with our Shrewsbury and Boylston friends too. Let's hope for an "Indian Summer" through the fall and even into December so we can keep playing. Thanks again everyone
