Up here in Long Island I use the GHIN app in the MGA Site. It also gives access to handicap print out

    GHIN.
  7. I'm a big believer of making a record of your stats during a round. Mainly to see what needs work but also to see where my golf game it at overall.

I record my score in GHIN, but separately, I keep a spreadsheet with all the stats I'm interested in. Fairways, greens, putts, up-and-downs, temperature, wind, and so on. Then, since my day job is in analytics, I run some additional analysis.

I can add/remove data points and not be limited by an app, or have it be taken away. I used to keep my stats in the old Titleist app. That way I have full control over my data.

pencil and scorecard... I track my stats on the scorecard and then write little notes on the bottom of my scorecard on what I need to focus more on.

I try my HARDEST to avoid looking at my mobile phone when playing unless i'm playing a little music.

My phone is out all the time too but it's the camera I'm using. I hate going to a course I haven't been to and forgetting to shoot a few memory pics. Not sure how many more years i can trust the real memory.
  11. I use SwingU. It tracks courses, will have GPS distances on screen while playing, allows you to record score (including number of putts, etc.), and is free.

I use my Garmin S40 watch with the Garmin App, it's easy and does a great job; it is not 100% accurate but I can get a good picture of where I hit the balls and enter my strokes on the watch.

  15. Still searching as well. I have used 18 birdies and SwingU. Both work well, but I am interested in what others are using

I used the Grint, but I found I was paying too much attention to it during the round; I got rid of all my golf apps and turn my phone off now during rounds.

I was using the swoosh app a few years ago which was great for looking at all of your main stats. Then they shut it down with three years of my information logged into it. I just downloaded IgolfStats from the App Store and after 10 minutes of playing with it, I had no idea how to make it work. I’m interested in an app that just tracks your score and stats. I’m not interested in GPS. Not sure why it’s so difficult to find something so basic. Titleist used to offer something similar and I wish they would again.

The one I'm using is similar to the NG360 I miss that app too. It was one of the best things swoosh did not sure why they got rid of it. I liked the fact there were goals and stuff, made it rewarding to use.

  22. The Grint. Provides you a USGA handicap and will track all of the stats you could possibly want. Free version or paid version. Paid is $25 a year.

I just started using the Grint - realize it's not office GHIN handicap but it helps me know which part(s) of my game need work.
