What's your strangest start? I'll jump right in. Mine was 6-1-7 .Yes, you read that correctly;double-ace-triple! The ace was the third and toughest of my career. It was a frozen rope dead-straight 3 wood (Titleist 910F 13.5) into a 15-20mph wind, downhill 251 yards. It was half blind; you could see the back of the green but that day the flag was in front, where you can't see it. When I heard the roar from the group in front, I knew it was in.It shook me up so much that on 3 I hit 2 shanks and a chunk!

We get in and congratulations are all around along with the first drink on me, when someone says "Interesting start Mike; do you know you just shot the area code for Boston"

Mike, congrats on the ace! That par 3 where you can't see the front of the green sounds like the 2nd hole up at Sky Meadow in Nashua where depending on how far they put the tee back you can't see the green. Playing with my buddy that I've played and worked with for near 30 years, watched him do a 6, 5, 4. 3. 2 on the first 5 holes. Par 4, 4, 4, 4, 3. Couldn't get the 1 for the 380 yard par 4 6th though to keep it going. Strangest start I've seen.

My strangest/worse start was 7-7-6-6-5-5-4-4-4 through 9 holes +12. Par 4-4-4-4-4-3-5-4-4 then things got normal after that on the back 9. Lol ended with a 91
