Visiting a friend in Cape Coral next month. Any course suggestions? Need to be able to bring my 7-year-old (he’s good and will not slow down play, but I know some courses might not like it ). Never been, and my buddy just moved there recently, so any suggestions are appreciated. — looking for recommendations.

I haven't played any courses in Cape Coral, but you could try this city course in Ft Myers:

Cost looks to be moderate and they may allow juniors. Another option would be to look for some "executive" courses, which may also let juniors on this time of year. I've not seen any juniors on any of the courses I've played in the Naples/Marco area. February in SW FL is peak golf season, so wherever you can get on expect it to be pricey.

Lived there for 5 years. Coral Oaks in North Cape is. a good track. It is off Burnt Store Rd. Also Cape Royal has nice courses off Pine Island Rd, played many time back then.

The Sanibel Island Golf Club is reasonably short and with no long carries. The day I was there it was not crowded.
