For most of us over the last few months, we’ve been dreaming about the next time we can pack up the club glove and jet set to a new destination. But in the meantime, why not daydream (or reminisce) of that golf trip of a lifetime? Whether you’ve already checked it off or it’s still on your list, we want to hear from you.

What’s your bucket list course to play with your Pro V1?

  3. Agreed, it’s actually the toughest in the Rota of AT&T Pro-Am scores are tough to get there ‍♂️
  4. Planning to Go West.....Bandon is calling, Just have to wait till fall, things settle down a wee bit & it’s just right

    I just played there yesterday!
  6. Like quite a few others here, I’ve had the chance to play a lot of nice golf courses.
I don’t have a bucket list, but if I did, I would add Bandon Dunes.

Great deals right now at Spy, Pebble and Spanish Bay. With no resort guests they need players.

I have played at Ballyliffen great course but tough, I especially remember that it has a very long par 5!

Have been lucky enough to get quite a few off the list the last few years. Pebble, St. Andrews, Carnoustie, Colonial CC, Kiawah Ocean, Pinehurst 1-4, both at Sand Valley, and all at Bandon (except Sheep Ranch). Headed to Pasatiempo in a few weeks for my birthday and if Hawaii lifts travel restrictions, Kapalua Plantation in September. Sheep Ranch in October at the TTI. Harbour Town in November. Still quite a few others on the list for 2021 and beyond, health and budget willing.
  14. if you come to Harbor Town you should try to play Colleton River (Nicholas and Dye). Just off Island

Thanks Chris for the suggestions. There are so many great courses out there and I have played a few others in the area but this trip includes keeping the wife entertained so just hitting Harbour Town and Atlantic Dunes this go around. Cheers.

  18. That would be ultimate along with Augusta. Have played Pine Valley three times and that is definitely best course I have had opportunity

We've rerouted to Las Vegas, Nevada, instead as air travel isn't so appealing because of cororo-viroro. So next week, we'll be playing 2 courses I've been wanting to play out of the 4 which are; Reflection Bay Golf Club and Rio Secco Golf Club. The other two are Paiute- Wolf Course and TPC Las Vegas. I think it should be fun. Ireland can wait a little longer for our return bucket list :-)

Besides the courses that you just listed, and depending on your style/lay-out preferences and budget (and time), consider; (Alphabetical Order), Bear's Best, Cascata, Coyote Springs (1 hr. from the strip), Dragon Ridge, Wolf Creek (Mesquite, NV., 1 hr., 30 mins. from the strip) just to name a few. Play the WOLF course when you go to Paiute.

Wolf Creek is a great experience. One of the most fun tracks I've played.

    Xochi2,
Great list you got there, agree with you, and yes, Bear's Best and Wolf Creek Mesquite are cool- played them a few times. Cascata has to wait, I'll miss that for tomorrow with my guys there now (ugh). Dragon Ridge is a private- maybe you can take us there? :-) Shadow Creek is another... too many courses good to play.
    Thanks for chiming in.

Dreaming would be Augusta with Secretary Rice, Coach Holtz, and Lynn Swann. Reality would be Pebble.
  26. 100% agree. Would play Augusta w/ Condoleza Rice in a heartbeat! Was supposed to go to Bandon this year and Pebble next year and St. Andrews the following year. I do have a bucket list. Trying to play all 10 top 10 courses you can play in US, St. Andrews and then Ballybunion is a big one on my list!

I’ve actually been lucky enough to travel across the country and play some highly ranked golf courses. Pebble Beach, Spyglass, LA Country Club, LaCosta, etc. There are actually a couple in my own side of the state that are at the top of my list. Oakmont, The Rolling Rock Club, Ligonier C.C. and Sunnehannna C. C.

Primland Resort in Virginia. Looks beautiful but a bit out of my budget. I can see my ProV1x sailing off into mountainous distance...

Primland is beautiful golf with nature on every hole. Geese, turkeys, deer, fox and none were disturbed to have in their backyard.

Primland is a great course...if you get a chance to play do it! Also, make a weekend of it and play Olde Mill Resort (its about 30 mins away) and 1/4 of the price.

On my radar in state: The Reserve in Aiken; Sea Pines on Hilton Head Island; Berkeley Hall in Bluffton; Grand Dunes in North Myrtle Beach and maybe Bulls Bay (again) in Awendaw. Have to wait til the temperatures drop for me. Just too hot in SC right now and will see how the pandemic goes. One of the tournaments I normally play in the end of August has cancelled due to the virus concerns.

** Josh, played the Nicklaus course at PGA West a number of years ago. It was in July and very HOT. Really enjoyed it. Was there for a professional conference. Drove down to San Diego and played Torrey Pines. Ended up being a great golf trip. Recommend it.
  42. I want to let my Prov1x fly at !Kauri Cliffs in New Zealand
  43. Grande Dunes is nice, played there last fall.
  44. Torrey Pines north and south certainly sorts out the men from the boys but the variety of shot making in Scotland is hard to beat. Try East and West Lothian
