I'm not in the Military, however, I too would like to thank each and every one of you who are or have in the past. What you guys do means a lot to me. I have some family currently in the Military. and both my father and grandfather served as well.

They are deserving of all of our Thanks. I know all vets and current military members have a sense of pride in serving this great country. We never look for accolades, just recognition for doing what we pledged to do in peace or dreaded war. The heroes names fill the wall for my generation and the Great War vets are just about extinct. The privilage of being able to become husbands, fathers and grandfathers are reward enough. I always pray for my friends that never got the opportunity.
Looks like Major winners to me!
I remember when my grandfather used to show me pictures of him and his Navy crew, ship, etc.. It was amazing. The Military came a very long way between then and now. My cousin, Scott, flies Blackhawks...so does his wife.
With out all of you guys, we wouldn't be able to play this great game. I really can't thank you enough.
Great for Scott & his wife . Must be proud of both for sure.

John LDewey, OK
USAF Japan. In my time in service i have gotten to play with a few of the other branches and I'll tell you what seems like every navy guy i've play'd with are single digit handie caps. Just last weekend i got the change to play golf with the CMSgt of U.S. forces japan, Top enlisted man in the Japanese air force, the next guy to replace him. Top enlisted man in the japanese Navy, also his replacement. and a Few other high positioned enlisted japanese Senior NCO's it was a great experiance and let me tell you i Have as much respect for them as i do my own chain of comand. It was a very great experiance and i look forward to having another change in the future if they invite me. by the way i am just a SSgt in the Air force so it was exciting to think i got to play golf with such enlisted people that have so much enfluance on their respective militaries. So yea if any of you Fellow TT members that are in the military and in the japan area look me up maybe we can play around.
There are some good golfer in the Navy but for some reason we can't beat Air Force in the Armed Forces Championships. But we will win next year since I didnt get to go this year do to transferring to San Diego and I am playing a ton of golf now and starting to get the game back. A normal day is between 71-75. I shot 67 2 weeks ago with the high score of the year 78.
Being a Dad to 2 daughters was great. They gave me 4 grandsons which is more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Passing on the game, and the tradition of sportsmanship, work ethic, and achieving small goals that will enable them to pass it on to the next generation.
