  1. I know it's a touch early, but, I just wanted to tell everybody Happy Thanksgiving!

We have sooooo much food to make. Actually, we're starting to make a couple of things before the big day, to save some time. Pumpkin cheesecake, pasta salad and more...already finished, sitting on the top shelf of the fridge. I'm really tempted to sneek me a snack, but I could just picture everyones face when we go to roll out the food and there's nothing but crumbs left, haha.I'm pretty excited this year. This is the first year that my fiance and I are going to make the turkey for everyone. I hope that everything turns out OK.

We really don't know how fortunate we are. If I could give Thanksgiving meals to all of the people that need it, I'd do it in a heart beat. We do have tons of fund raisers for stuff like this, so, that makes me feel really good.

Luckily for us, we don't have to travel. However...to all of you who are going to be traveling...PLEASE be safe out there!

Again, I wish you and your families a very Happy Thanksgiving!

It's that time of year when we can reflect on how blessed we are to live in this great time.  At 64 years old, I'm typing on a computer and using technology that wasn't even drempt of in my childhood.  The marvels of modern medical technology have blessed we and our family.  So much can be done, today, to give us the abilty to enjoy life to its fullest.

We all have had "chuckholes" we've encountered through life.  As this Thanksgiving rolls around, try to look past those difficult times and enjoy the good things life has blessed us with.  Hug those close to you.  Fix a little extra for dinner and carry it next door or down the street.  Try to put a smile on a neighbor or friend's face during this holiday season.

Hopefully, we all had an enjoyable year on the course.  Just to be able to have the opportunity to play this great game and enjoy the fellowship of fellow golfers is a blessing we all can be thankful for.  Let's hope all can enjoy the privilege of finding a white sphere with a "Titleist" boldly displayed, always in the short grass during 2011.

    Happy Thanksgiving!!
