So I got to work this morning after being on leave for 2 weeks only to find out that I am deploying to Afghanistan in May. I went home and got my package with some awesome Team Titleist Gear. Thanks again I will use them with pride until I cant play golf for the next year.

  2. Thanks again Navy for everything that you do for our great Country! Enjoy the TT gifts. If you can, be sure to keep in touch with us. I wish you the absolute best.

Good luck on the deployment brother. I got lucky on my current assignment and im non deployable for three years so if you want man post a mailing address when you get there i'll send you a care package. my old unit went to Iraq back in sept. and i sent them a few weeks back a care package. I know when i was there it was up lifting to get one.

Good luck on your deployment, hope all your unit comes home safe.  A few friends of mine are in Afghanistan now and they took a couple of older clubs and some shag balls with them.  Just to stay sane and to work on chipping game while deployed.  I do not know if you can have that luxury, but it might help you with stress and allow for your swing to stay somewhat tuned while you are gone.

Just wanted to update everyone and Thank them for the support. It turns out I wont be going now. I have to get a higher clearance to go and they werent sure if there was enough time and they didnt want to tell someone else at the last minute they were going so they removed me from the mission.

Definately going to work hard on the game now. I want to get back to where I was when I played on Mini tours in 03-04. Now that I have my am status again and I am in a place where I can play golf year round it on. I have been thinking of doing the GC Am Tour anyone do that? I also am going to do US Am and Open qualifying. Its been over 2 years since I have shot in the 60's that is a long time for me. Since when I was at my best it was almost a daily occurence.

  16. So, are you completely done with your Military "contract"?

I personally haven't checked in to the Golf Channel Am Tour, but have heard some good things about it. Where will you be doing your U.S. Open qualifier?

Not sure where qualifying will be I havent seen the list yet.
