team titleist i need your help..i've been playing for 12 years now but finally got fitted with irons last year  .............ap1s     +1/2''  2degrees up .....my question is what  vokey wedges should i go with and should i also have them +1/2'' ....I currentlly use cleveland wedges (cg 14)  56-14  and 56-08  standard length.  i pick all my irons and wedges pretty clean ,, usually  no divot or  one the size of a half dollar. so does that  make me a sweeper??    thanx  madgolfer

madgolfer - there is a wedge selector on vokey.com.  check it out.  it should help you determine what bounce you need on your wedges.  My question to you is why do you have two 56 degree wedges?  do you pick different bounces for different course conditions?

Your description fits me to a tee. I'm 6'2" and my irons or the same as yours. I have a 58 and a 52 Vokey wedge. The 58 was built to my iron specs but the 52 was a gift and is std. I cannot tell the difference as the length between the two may be +1/4". I also am a picker and would consider myself a sweeper as I usually do not leave a divot at all with the long irons and very little with a 7 iron up through my 58. Green side bunker play is different. I usually leave a divot about the size between a dollar bill and my foot print depending on the distance I want to carry. Fairway bunkers I pick the ball just like I do on grass. Bob Vokey thinks that +1/2" should be maximum and that the std length will fit the majority of golfers. Check out his film clip on this sight.
