Last month, we hosted our first-ever Team Titleist Academy at the world-class Sea Island Resort, and what a week it was! From start to finish, it was packed with unforgettable experiences, top-tier instruction, and plenty of fun both on and off the course.
The Academy began as attendees gathered for a welcome lunch, on the iconic grounds of The Lodge at Sea Island. From the very first moments, it was clear this was going to be something special, as we were introduced to world-renowned instructor Justin Parsons, fresh off a teaching session with Open Champion Brian Harman. It gave us a firsthand glimpse into the caliber of instruction we were about to experience.
World-Class Instruction at the Golf Performance Center
From there, we headed to the brand-new Golf Performance Center, a facility that redefines what “state-of-the-art” means in golf.
After meeting our team of expert coaches, we broke into small groups for a deep dive into all areas of the game featuring, Mental game strategies with Dr. Mo, full swing mechanics, short game, putting, TPI physical assessments, and a Vokey Wedge informational station.
Led by Titleist Instructor Joe Plecker and his team, attendees also received an in-depth Swing Catalyst video analysis, using cutting-edge technology to break down and improve their swings.
Playing Seaside and Plantation
Throughout the Academy, we had the chance to tee it up on Sea Island’s legendary Seaside and Plantation courses. both breathtaking, challenging layouts that made every round a memory-maker. Naturally, we put our learnings into action each day, starting every morning with a focused warm-up before heading to the tee.
Between instruction sessions, friendly competitions, and those unforgettable post-round conversations, the camaraderie and connection among Team Titleist members was something truly special.
