As we look ahead to the 2026 golf season, I’m curious to hear what everyone is working toward. Whether your focus is lowering your handicap, playing more rounds, competing in events, or simply enjoying the game more, every goal matters.

What are your goals for the season, and what’s your plan to achieve them? Looking forward to hearing what everyone is focused on this year!

I simply just want to play more and be more confident around the greens.

My goal for 2026 is to just have fun playing with my friends, whether that be at TT events or locally. I know that this year will be harder for me to get out on the course but it just makes me more appreciative to attend events and get out and play with my friends.

A continuation of my 2025 goal, to not take my results so seriously. Yes, I always want to play my best but the reality is, Father Time is taking his toll and bad shots/rounds are going to happen. I still want to try to hit every shot perfectly but I need to limit my reactions to bad shots. Can’t change the past so move on, don’t be a distraction to fellow players, have fun, and be thankful I can still get out there and play this great game.

My goals for 2026 (apart from more golf) are to become a better bunker player (fairway and green side) and improve around the green.
  8. Trying to get to scratch! Hopefully bye the end of the year

My goal for the 2026 season is to be a more consistent ball striker. Try to have more time on the range and on the course with family and friends.
More constructive range time with some golf specific exercising.

My goals are lofty, maybe out of reach, but I'll keep plugging away. Time isn't my enemy, sometimes it's the effort level. I just played a few rounds in Fort Myer's at a couple private clubs, broke par both days. Haven't been able to put a round in the 60's in a few years. It's been right there in front of me, just haven't made the putts. Keep grinding!

My goal is to work on the mental side of my golf game. Been reading several books about it and have been working at it since this last summer. Have seen some improvement, especially with anger after a bad shot and not letting a bad hole ruin a round, but still not quite there yet. I hope to get my thoughts and emotions to where they need to be in 2026.

Oh!! wait that's more than 2.....LOL. #7) get my handicap to 8.5

For me, it’s all about consistency. I want to be more reliable inside 100 yards and keep improving my putting — those are the areas that really add up over a round.

I’d also love to get through a round without losing six Pro V1s.

More than anything, I’m trying to remember that I’m not getting paid to play. The goal is to enjoy every moment out there — the courses, the environment, and the people — and appreciate it while I can. I know there’ll be a day I look back and wish I was still able to be out there, so I want to make the most of it.

I’m also excited for the season ahead since this will be my first full year with my new T150 irons.
  14. Really committing to routine/process this year. First round under par in 25… I saw glimpses of potential. Just looking to maximize potential Spring can’t come soon enough.

Get back to a single digit handicap; reduce doubles and 3 putts and play more golf with my son.

My goal is to continue to play consistently (Hopefully not bad) and enjoy time out doors with my friends and get back to walking the course.

Definitely want to play more in general but play more quality courses and this year im achieving that by traveling to Cape Breton to play Cabot Links and Cliffs. Otherwise, lower the HC to be back around par and HAVE MORE FUN!!!

Not going to chase any specific numbers. Continue to get and stay healthy, work on the game with with my pro and have fun. Think those numbers will take care of themselves, with a little luck (of course luck is defined as when preparation meets opportunity). Hope everyone meets their goals in "26". Fairways and greens to everyone.

Top our member traveling to Cape Breton (The Cliffs is an awesome trek to play). Definitely one the best destinations in N America.

Aiming to finally break 80. Also hoping to play in a couple events and get to see some cool courses.
