    Great topic Owen...

My first round was a little better than I expected which is always a nice way to kick off the season.  I hit some good shots but didn't score particularly well. I'll chalk that up to the short game being a little rusty.

I was really happy with my putting and how it carried over from the end of the year last year. I also have a  Big Moss green in the basement that was good for practicing 9 footers. Not to mention the Scotty Cameron Studio Select Kombi S is one of the best flat sticks I have ever rolled. Can't beat the confidence I have with that putter.

I also put a new line up of 910s in the bag and have been hitting those solid. I also put the new Pro V1x in play and was really happy with the performance. All in all, I'm really excited for this season and looking forward to getting out on the course as much as possible.

Our layoff here in Oklahoma was not all that long.  So my first round of the year went as expected, just a bit below my handicap.

Sine then I have added a couple of new TVD wedges and a new 910D3 driver.  It is unbelievable how much more accurate I am now with the new driver after the fitting.  Going to be a good year.

Finally made it to Florida for the first round of the year.  By the third round, the groove felt better after a long winter.  Especially with the driver (905T).   The ProV1x ball was better than expected.   Puttting was fine, but the driver and long irons took 2 rounds to feel comfortable.  I carry older Vokey wedges, but they still did the job. Plenty of well needed practice range time coming up.  Looking forward to the 2011 season for sure.

First round in New Hampshire while waiting for titleist irons to arrive - 85. Some wild shots, but still ok.

First round with new AP2's, one week later, and 2 visits to the range - 77. Very exciting. Still fairly poor conditions as well.
