2011 Titleist Lightweight Cart Bag. No cart strap loop?

    Hi Titleist,

    I just received my new Titleist cart bag. Great looking bag and it looks like it has everything I need in a bag.

    One thing that's disappointing. There is no loop specifically for the motorized cart strap to thread through?

    I'm assuming the strap is threaded through the bag handle? Haven't had it on the cart yet, but by the looks of this it may cover the towel ring.

    I should have done better research on this bag. I was looking at the 2011 Sun Mountain, which has the built in loop. I went with the Titleist because it looked less busy. I assumed since Sun Mountain makes Titleist bags the loop would be there. Not on this bag.

    Hi SCJR,

    This is the bag that I personally use and I can tell you that it is one of the best bags I've ever owned. I haven't had any problems with the bag fitting on carts and the design/positioning of the handle allows the bag to easily strap into motorized carts. Also, you can easily slide the cart strap underneath the towel ring so it shouldn't be a problem.  

    Personally, I like having the handle on the bag as it makes it much easier to handle the bag when it's off the cart. That's just a personal preference but again, I think you'll be happy with the bag once you have it on a cart and see how it works.

    I appreciate your detailed response. It made me feel much better about the purchase.

    It appears to be an awesome cart bag. Very well made and practical. All the reviews I found have been like yours. I've always been accustomed to some kind of cart strap loop, so this took me a little by surprise. When I become acquainted with the bag on the cart, as you said, I'm sure I'll be very happy with it. Thank you for taking the time to reply and share your experiences with this bag.

    I wanted to update this thread. The bag has been great. Fits and straps into cart just fine, as Mike said it would. Great looking bag too and very practical. The putter well is awesome. After seeing the 2011 Sun Mountain bag in person, I'm definitely happy I purchased this bag. It's just a better looking bag, period.
