Today was our day in North Myrtle Beach at the Barefoot Resort as four members of Team Titleist from various parts of the southeast gathered for a day of fun and gamesmanship. The Norman course presented many challenges for the four of us with, it seemed, lots of sandtraps, especially my partner and I. DavidB (Hilton Head, SC) and myself dueled it out with Keith M (GA) and Gary B (NC) in a tough TT match today. Gary had stated earlier that he had played this course before so he definitely had the upper hand. He even yelled on the last hole I got a birdie after I had been in the deep jungles of Australia again, seeking out my Prov1 that had disappeared off the toe of my AP1 nine iron never to be seen again. thankfully that was the only ball I lost today. Hopefully he will share some insight and maybe a picture or two. It was great the see all the guys and to share stories because I will be able to participate in the TT Invitational this year due to some medical issues that will prevent me from walking eighteen holes. Hopefully next year will change. Good time, good friends and fun was had by all. That is what golf and Team Titleist should be all about. David, Chuck, Keith, Gary Cheers....

Sounds like a great time. Barefoot is the perfect place. Seems like the weather was very cooperative. Nice group pic.

Looks like you guys had a great time. My only question is "why were you all wearing shoes?"

It definitely was a good time. Keith and I were hustled for sure. Only found one trap all day, and hit the ball pretty well, even though the score didn't reflect it. Can't wait until the next meet up. Here are a couple of pictures of David and Chuck putting.

After seeing my awful putting stance and stroke in the top picture, I went to see my pro on Monday and we worked on that. No wonder I missed so many putts in MB. Also had my Scotty extended one inch, found it was too short at 34". As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. I have this problem of getting to far from the ball. That is why we have golf pros. Thanks guys....you are the best....chuck...

It was definitely a fun day, a highlight of my vacation for me. Like my golf, my pictures weren't very good either. I certainly lost more than 1 ball...

A shot of Chuck's back, then Gary's back, with David in the distance. A career in photography, like golf, is not in my future.
