Looking for places to play in the Scottsdale area and Myrtle Beach. Anyone have any recommendations for both places?

I've played most of the big name public courses (some several times) and one of the private ones and Quintero is still the best in my opinion for Scottsdale golf.
  3. Scottsdale has lots of great names...I used to live there so it comes down to your budget. TPC Scottsdale is a must play at least once IMHO.

    Cheers!

Quintero is my go-to now when I roll out there! WeKoPa is another must!

I was just there in April and played Troon North-Monument, once of the finest golf courses I've played anywhere. As others have said, WeKoPa is excellent as well as TPC Scottsdale, and I've heard Desert Ridge is fantastic.

    Lots of great choices.

I was there during the WM Open. Played Raven- Phoenix, Troon North (both courses), Gold Canyon (Dinosaur course), and Papago. Tried to get on at WeKoPa, but they were booked well outside of their 60-day "booking window."
  8. Phx guy here - so many choices - we are spoiled... WeKoPa, Grayhawk, Troon North, Talking Stick, Wildfire, Sunridge Canyon

Played Estancia, We-Ko-Pa (both courses) and ventured out way past Quintero to play Wickenburg Ranch for the first time. Only had time to play Big Wick which was fun, Li'l Wick looks like it would be a really fun par 3 course/party.

There was a group of guys on my return flight back in Feb who played Wickenburg Ranch. They go annually, and that's one that they play every year. I've put it on my list for the next trip.

It was fun, we were in and out. I'd recommend making time to play Lil'Wick as well! It looked like a fun par 3 course w/ a big outdoor bar in the middle of the course! I wish we would have made time for both!

Play Verde River before it goes private.
